O controle biológico com parasitóides constitui uma ferramenta importante nos programas de manejo de moscas-das-frutas. O parasitóide exótico Diachasmimorpha longicaudata tem sido a espécie de maior sucesso ao redor do mundo. O uso da radiação ionizante constitui uma alternativa prática viável para evitar a emergência das moscas na multiplicação deste parasitóide. Neste contexto, foram desenvolvidos ensaios para definir a dose de raio X para a não emergência de adultos de Ceratitis capitata, linhagem bissexual parasua utilização na multiplicação do parasitóide D. longicaudata. |
